MrWhale operates WOO (reading & community) and HEY (AI creative studio). This Policy explains how we handle personal information. By using our services, you acknowledge this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to mrwhale.ai, woo.mrwhale.ai, hey.mrwhale.ai, and related apps or web clients. WOO and HEY share one account system and creation-point balance.

2. Information we collect

To provide the service, we may collect:

  • Account data: phone number, email, display name, avatar, credentials, and third-party login IDs if you bind them.
  • Creation & content: prompts, reference images, generations, drafts in HEY, and works you publish on WOO.
  • Interaction data: reads, likes, comments, saves, tips, negative feedback, and blocks.
  • Device & security data: device model, OS, browser, IP, cookies / local storage, and device fingerprints (for abuse prevention, risk control, and recommendations).
  • Transaction data: reading-balance top-ups, creation-point usage, orders, and payment confirmations (payment details are handled by processors; we keep order records needed to run the service).

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve WOO reading and HEY creation features.
  • Sign-in, security checks, anti-abuse, and fraud prevention.
  • Personalize recommendations and distribution (you can manage some preferences and negative feedback in Settings).
  • Process top-ups, billing, payout reviews, and customer support.
  • Comply with law and protect users, creators, and the platform.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only when needed:

  • Vendors: hosting, CDN, object storage, SMS/email, payments, and risk tools—bound by contract to the stated purpose.
  • AI model providers: generation requests may be sent to selected model services to complete image/comic creation. Do not put unnecessary sensitive personal data in prompts.
  • Legal requirements: disclosure required by law, legal process, or government request.
  • Business transfers: in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as an asset; the successor must honor this Policy.

5. Storage & security

Data is stored primarily on our servers and cloud providers. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no internet transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Keep your account and verification codes safe.

6. Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand traffic. You can limit cookies in your browser; that may affect sign-in and some features.

7. Your rights

  • Access & correction: update your profile in Settings; some records appear under Privacy / negative feedback.
  • Export & deletion: email support to request an export or deletion of account data (except where law requires retention).
  • Withdraw consent: stop using the service or delete your account; handling of already-public works follows product rules.

8. Children

The service is intended primarily for adults. If you are a minor, use it only with a guardian’s consent and guidance. If we learn we collected a child’s data without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.

9. International users

If you access from outside mainland China, information may be processed and stored where we operate the service. Continued use means you understand those transfers.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced on the site, in-product, or by email. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
